Speek Freely but Fairly
Of course people should feel free to speak out in opposition. Your post however implied opposition simply because of who proposed the policy. That is classic knee-jerk reaction. Feel free to propose any logic you want against the war and I will applaud you as a key part of the democratic process as long as your logic is something other than "it has to be wrong because they support it or have been trying to do something similar for forever".
