Librarian for children by day, all saccharine sweet and nice - and the next moment transforming from repressed librarian to Standard Bearer of the altruistic, almighty and noble Liberal Legions and biting Robert's head off.

I know some teachers and caregivers who do something along similar lines.
There's a high stress factor in dealing with kids. It needs a release somewhere.
