Yes, America stuck its head in the sand in the 1990’s and now we are paying for it.
The motto for the Clinton economy was something like, “Keep Wallstreet happy and the economy will stay hunky-dory. Report no negative information.”
Sometimes I wish we could build a wall around America and forget about the rest of the world. Life would be so much easier, but we can not do that.
