It's not the D.A.'s job to argue whether or not charging Scott Peterson with double murder affects Roe Vs. Wade.
According to the article, California does have a fetal homicide statute. The D.A.'s job is to file charges, under California law, and make his arguments in court. Not in some newspaper article.
As far as quoting Marie Tasy, what's the problem with that?
The article also presents the opinion of Mavra Stark, a NOW representative who doesn't want the double murder charges filed.
It's called "balance." Unfortunately for some, showing balance means including the opinion of those on the left, and then following up with the opinion of those on the extreme left.
