I did predict that we would do more bombing than we did, prior to invading. I was wrong.

In lieu of published predictions, I'll tell you my thoughts.

I thought there would be earlier and more massive surrenders than there were. I was wrong.

I thought that there would be more resistance from the populace than there was. I was wrong.

I thought it wouldn't take us as long as a month to conquer the country. I was right.

I thought that WMDs would not be used. I was right.

I thought that there would be WMDs within reach of troops. I was wrong.

I thought that it would prove to be a political mess, once the shooting stopped. Time will tell.
