If Iraq develops a robust living standard like Israel, maybe even (with luck) without Israel's socialist baggage, most Iraqis will probably think they got the better of the deal, even with the threat of terrorism. Remember, before EVERYONE was under the threat of terrorism and arbitrary death from their own government.
Arabic terrorists attacking Iraqi citizens is going to be a bit harder to sell to fellow Arabs than attacking Jews.
In total agreement on Arafat. I had some hopes the current Palestinian regime change had possibilities, but I'm not seeing much real change yet.
Anyone seen the so-called "road map" yet?
