Speaking of Clinton and Gore, I wonder how they would have Handled 9/11.
Gore stated on national TV that he did not support President Bush on Afghanistan or Iraq. He would have done just like his boss did for 8 years- nothing.
I do believe that 9/11 would have forced Clinton to deal with the terrorist. He couldn’t ignore them anymore after that. The first WTC bombing only killed a couple of American. The Americans Al Qaeda killed in Africa were only a few. The bombing of the Cole only killed a few. He could ignore those, but 9/11 would have forced him to deal with the terrorist. I have no idea what he would have done. I doubt he would have charged into Afganastain, and defiantly not Iraq.
