Where would education be without Bennett's gambling loses.

Afterall, gambling is always sold a great means to raise money for "the children".

To bad Bennett isn't a Democrat. He could then parade himself as a "victim of his addiction".

He could lobby congress to get more government funding of addiction services. And he might be able to convince congress to extend medicare benefits to addicts like himself who can't afford healthcare because they spent everything on their addiction.

Then he could blame the addiction on his strict Christian upbringing...That forbidden fruit thing...It gets everyone eventually...But very public consultations with the Rev. (sic) Jesse Jackson would absolve him of his public sin.

Then he could get his own talk show.
