I think the good news is that the Patriot Act in its present form is NOT going to stay. Wish to God the same was true for the Income Tax.

Leftwingers aren't always all that hot on the Bill of Rights either. Remember the Second Amendment? Hell, remember the Tenth?

I do agree at least a few heads should have rolled in our intelligence network. Not least the legislators who decided that it would be illegal for the CIA and FBI to share information.
