<Poll At CNN
Hey, if journalists have a constitutionally defined role to play, then they damn well should be required to report honestly.
We supposedly jail dishonest politicians. We jail dishonest judges. We jail dishonest businessmen. Before you all run off that jailing dishonest reporters would "have a chilling effect" on what is reported really think about it: A dishonest reporter is either reporting lies, slander, or some other disinformation for the sake of a sinister unamed agenda. Otherwise, why would a reporter lie?
Or a reporter is stealing the fruit of someone's hard work. Why shouldn't theft be prosecuted with jail time?
Maybe it is time that the news media is taken to task...WE NEED SOME NEW LAWS AND REGULATION IN THIS AREA!!!
The news media must be investigated for corruption. We need a government inquiry, congressional hearings, etc... to determine just what the news media really knows and when did they know it.
My goodness...There might even be some sort of payolla going on where reporters recieve goods and services for favorable reporting...How deep does this scandle go?
No wonder nobody told us about Enron until it was too late. What does the news media know about Enron that they are not telling us? And why?
Conspiracy! Conspiracy!

(Of course it won't go anywhere because it doesn't involve the "Administration")
