Would you rather that the Republican Guard had not stood down, but fought to the death?
Do you realize what a horror that would have been? That’s not what you wanted to see, is it?
If this story is true, (and I hope it is) this was money very well spent. A couple hundred thousand dollars to prevent massive loss of human life is chump change.
Don’t you think so?
