uhh, Don, don't get your hopes up

You can be sure that Saddam at least kept starter cultures around, for use after the inspectors left, along with some chemical samples, and nuclear waste.

Now if you were some poor Iraqi soldier assigned to guard any of this stuff, the first thing you wanted to do when the bombs started falling was to get the 'ef out of the way.

Now if some Muslim brother learned though the grapevine that anything was around, and came up and wanted some of whatever you were assigned to guard, if you weren't already gone you would turn and shout okay back to him as you headed home.

So far around 25% of the known faciliteis have been examined, and as Justin points out below, the mobile labs have come up positive. The claim is that 50% of the Al Qaeda net is down, but I doubt that, and even if it was true, the anger in the Moslem world over Israel's seizrures of Palestinian lands is so great that it will take little effort or time to find other ways of delivery. You could hope the current roadmap may change that, but...

have a real nice day,
