Sorry you're having problems. That error message comes from the browser, and not the server like most of the messages y'all have been treated to recently.
I don't quite understand it yet, but it seems to be suggesting that a browser window has disappeared. The popup message form is connected behind the scenes with the window that launched it, so that when you get the result message clicking the link for your new message, the original message, or the table of contents, refreshes the correct window.
I'm not sure how that could have happened, and so far the experience seems to be uniquely yours. Are you running a popup window blocker?
I created a simple Web page to check how well your browser handles popups here. Please click the link to launch the test page. It will try to launch a second window. In the popup window you'll see "Click here to test link back to opening window.". Click the "here" link to see if the popup window can put some text back on the page that launched it. Over on the original test page is a similar link, "Send text to popup", to test sending text to the popup. Together those two links check the connection between the two windows in both directions.
Please give it a try and let me know what happens.
