Mark Eby (laughably says)

Of course BD isn't competant enough in chemistry to understand the impact of temperature on Reaction rates even if there were cyclical trends in the data.

Mark

Mark, if I may say so, you are the most incompetant arogant fool I have ever come across on the internet. You are so far off with your outdated unsupported ideas on Mars it is pitiful; and your insistance for a manned colonization project show that you have lost any ability to be rationale. You clearly live in a Star Trek fantasy world where people are wisked off to distant planets by warp speed.

For your information (something you never seem to want or care about) I have met and interviewed Dr. Miller extensively. There is nothing in Miller's report that cannot be easily deciphered by a 15 year old science student. You (and others of your ilk) simply (like always) refuse to read the press release or the scientific papers. You base all your criticisms on heresay and what you hear from others on this BBS. In other words you talk completely out of your arse.

Miller says: "As for the original concerns of the dubious chemists, who thought the same sort of signal could simply be coming from highly reactive, non-organic compounds in the soil, Miller says such a scenario would be almost impossible to imagine. "For one thing," he explains, "there has since been research that shows that superoxides exposed to an aqueous solution—like the nutrient solution in the experiment—will quickly be destroyed. And yet, the circadian rhythms from the Martian soil persisted for nine straight weeks."

Just what do you suppose this could mean Captain Kirk, I mean Captain Mark?

By the way, I hear your Mars theatre group has switched from canvas space suits to polyester. Gotta have polyester space suit to do all that Mars colonizing stuff eh. What a hoot! What's next? Buck Rogers ray guns to fend off the Martians? And you talk about competancy? Unbelievable...
