Again the looming problems with entitlement were known a decade ago. Republicans and Democrats pledged not to use current surpluses in those programs for current expenditures. Instead they have gone to tax cuts.
We have a huge national debt and a looming crisis. There is no way it is fiscally responsible to ignore those issues and provide cuts favoring primarily your main contributors.
