Some good ideas there
If there's one thing I sincerely hope Americans, and especially isolationist-minded Republicans, have learned from Sep. 11th, it's that we can't afford to ignore 3rd world hellholes like Afghanistan just because they're far away, they're foreign, and it's none of our business. Into a power vacuum rushes crazy people like Al Queda and before you know it terrorists are over here in our cities, making it very much our business. Humanitarian concerns aside, that's the real reason we can't sit back and let nations like the Congo rot.
