Sounds fine to me
I would have preferred that the nix on quotas be applied universally instead on only in this case.
In the other matter, if Michigan chooses less qualified applicants over the better qualified, it will only degrade the quality of their Law School and reduce the quality and quantity of applicants in the long run.
Last I heard, it is not that difficult to get into a Law School and Michigan is not all that and a bag of chips anyway.
