Gephardt made a bizarre statement yesterday
It was in a CSPAN interview and was picked up by CNN and the blogsphere.
"When I'm president, we'll do executive orders to overcome any wrong thing the Supreme Court does tomorrow or any other day," said Rep. Dick Gephardt of Missouri.
He wasn't quoted out of context, either. Here's a link to the CSPAN interview. He made the comment at roughly 45 minutes and 40 seconds into the interview.
Is his knowledge of the law and the Constitution that weak, or is he pandering to an audience whose knowledge is that weak?
