I'm quite intrigued by the deep belief that the UN inspectors were wrong , perhaps because they were working for the UN.
But the rest of the world heard, before the war, what the UN weapons inspectors said and offered more time to let them do their job. Not the coalition.
So, we believe it's entirely possible the WMD's were destroyed , as requested by the UN.
But no, to the conservatives, it cannot be the case, the weapons are gone to another place.
In that case, those against the war are twice vindicated: there was no threat to the world, therfore no reason for war. Or, the WMD's were indeed there, but the war made things much worse; just as they said from the beginning; it will produce thousands of potential OBL's.
