I would like the emphasis to shift to finishing the job. How many decades are we going to drag our feet on this? What are the reasons for not completing all the Superfunds sites in say the next 2 years. I would think there would be serious advantages to getting the job done quickly- first solve the problem to do with having a area toxic affecting environment, but after that we can reduce this job's program.
And of course I know why govt would rather drag this out, first is to "save money", second is to waste money- "save money" short term, but overall cost huge amounts of money by "saving money".
