I've studied this issue before. When the tracks were formed, the sediment was very soft, wet, and gooey. As the dinos pulled their feet out of the sediments, the walls of the footprint would collapse, modifing the shape of the print to make it look more like something else.
More importantly, there were few mammals then (small rodents), no primates, and certainly no hominids, and no humans at all. We'd have found some evidence more than trace fossils.
