Reminds me of the Imperial Valley / LA water wars.
I did once point out that a reason for Arafat's intransience to Clinton's last minute wheeling and dealing had to do with water rights. The conservative reaction hereabouts pointed out that the Jordan river provided more water than anyone could possibly need (I'm probably exaggerating).
On the other hand, I heard on the radio that Israeli new settlement creation continues at the same pace as before the roadmap. I am coming to hate all these people.
