re: Umm-m . . .

So -- now the CIA is a good reference source for international intelligence?

For many, this is very convenient.

And "likely bogus" does not equal “bogus”, particularly with all the previous evidence stacked so high against Hussein & Co. He failed to clear himself from his conviction, and execution was carried out.

Cry about it to someone who really cares.

And of course these statements regarding the CIA and CinC discussions are all out of context, and from documents and investigations of which you and I will never be fully informed upon, and will no day soon be posted in full on the www.

Probably means nothing.

And the BBC is UK-based, a nation which is far more anti-Coalition than the US. Small wonder this particular transmitter digs up so much of the errant past for a "selling" 20/20 review.

Is it all true, regarding the prez' disregard of the CIA’s “factual” data?

Likely not. I am, however, sure the “evidence”, both for and against the Iraqi nuke threat, were all taken under advisement and weighed against what was "known" at the time -- you know, all that previous evidence stacked so high against Hussein & Co -- much the way people are trying so hard to weigh what is “known” today.

Cheers,
Dan
