re: Or . . . ?

This whole thing reminds me of an abused child becoming an abuser himself.
The problem is: the first culprit isn't the next victim.

Yes, that is pretty much the way Hussein & Co were.

Religious fanatics, mostly from Saudi Arabia, provoke 9/11.
And the Iraqis who have nothing to do with it must pay for it.

The “culprit” for the attacks of Sept 11, 01 were the al-Qai’da. We dealt with them, and are continuing today, with much assist from nations around the globe. The war continues today, and its focus is not merely al-Qai’da. Included are international terror organizations, and the nations (governments) who support them.

It also reminds me of the guy who points his weapon to another one and demands him to give his gun and then shoots him.

The known killer was faces and we demanded his weapons. He was dangerous, and continued to hide what he held. He was shot.

Real pity.

Before attacking Iraq, the UN could not fault Iraq for possessing WMD's.
The US attacked Iraq and no WMD was used against it; no WMD was found since.

Did the US attack a defenseless country? I don't call that courage.

We attacked a foolish leader who was leading his people to distruction. I don’t call it courage either. I call it damned smart.

There is nothing worse than waging war against another country.
Destruction of properties, no electricity, no air conditioning, no water, no food, no jobs, hundred of thousands of wounded, crippled and dead people.

Crock. Within a week of freeing Baghdad of its “benevolent” leadership, the people of that poor, dominated city, and all cities the Coalition had managed to occupy, were is a better state of existence than any time before the invasion.

There is nothing worse than war and some want to dodge its consequences!

Real-world consequences, or philosophical consequences?

In 40 years, when 90% of the facts are finally in, maybe I'll feel bad about it.
