No offense please...I'm just trying to follow your logic here...
It sounds to me like you think they are in a conspiracy to keep the true nature of the Martian environment a secret so that a manned mission will be launched based on faulty data...
Is that what you are proposing?
If so, lets not beat around the Bush here...That is a BIG CONSPIRACY...
It would rate right up there.
