This alleged "CO2 clathrate outgassing" exists only in your (warped) mind. Nick did not make any such claim. I'm sure this is above your level of "expertise," which really does not say much, but Nick claimed that a near-polar gully on Mars was active, perhaps due to thawing solid CO2 snowpacks. Nick also cautioned that his interpretation could also be suspect owing to the contrast (and noise) in the image. Face it, will you? The person in whose mouth you are trying to place words (Nick) does not even agree with you. Yeah, yeah, I know. You're not a paranoid, despite the fact that everyone disagrees with you.
