I suppose that any residual group that shoots at the forces that deposed the former government can be regarded as Resistance.
To assume that the term Iraqi Resistance grants some legitimacy to the force may be correct but how much support they get from the general populace and how they are dealt with is more important. Nothing succeeds like success.
Sometimes I think it would be worth a year of my life to flash forward and be able to judge the outcome without the bickering over nuance and molehills.
