Your above comment, however, was directed toward the Habitable Zone as a whole, and therefore toward all users, regardless of intent. Firing off both barrels, as you say, is dangerous, and collateral damage should be expected. As such, I'm sure you can see why rampant replies are forthcoming.

Yes, I did see your “Chilled” post at Community, which sent me searching for the story. Now I’ve seen it. It’s a nice one, but I would have to say that Fox and Raoul are right. Then there’s Mary Anne’s "Zoned out" request. Please reply to this one, Jake. Even if Mary Anne is unable to review your response (but then you know she will), I think a lot of us here want to know what’s on you mind.

For "FrankC, Fox, Raoul, etc", these have not been attacks on you, regardless of how you yourself interpret them. Your comment that I posted above here likely explains their personal concerns.

As for the failed replies from your other targets, I'd say you missed completely. As Tony states, not everyone cruises this particular rifle range. I don't, and an invitation to duel here posted on the Space board might prompt the necessary, though possibly not preferred, response. Then again, it may simply be ignored.
