I wasn't implying that I had a solution. As I mentioned originally, of the ideas I've heard proposed, the venerable launch escape tower is attractive. Not least because it's so simple and straightforward, and well-understood. It's known to work, having saved the lives of a couple of cosmonauts.

So, what's your idea?
