And that possibility exists and they're not the first ones to mention it either.
There was insider trader going on before the attacks with American Airlines, Rummy and Cheney stopped flying that month, Condoleeza had been briefed that muslim terrorists were planning on using our own commercial jet planes as a "bombs", FBI and FAA sent repeated requests to FBI headquarters in Washington to follow Moussai (one of the hijackers) and were consistently denied (said Washington FBI head got promoted with a raise after 9/11), attempts to get a proper 9/11 investigation going were stonewalled, information that was public, was re-called to temper the questioning, the Patriot Act was bounced out in record time (parts of which were on the books many months BEFORE 9/11), Rockefeller sold the Trade Towers 2 weeks before, ad nauseum.......
I think Bush had wind of the impending attacks and planned to use them to his benefit, but had no idea how devastating they would be. I think he actually "could have" allowed them to occur, knowing it would give us the right to attack Afganistan and Iraq, so they could sew up their money pipelines (oil and heroin).
Yeah, that's a distinct possibility allright. Don't think it hasn't crossed MY mind, and I quickly denounce it. However, it would only prove that evil exists in the minds of men where money is concerned. And that evil is even compounded more when religion is thrown in to whitewash the greed. And what resulted was the drama since then, played out center stage as a world play with a cast of characters behaving badly.
