Yes, Tom, there was no live video, but Pres. Bush on two occasions has stated, quite clearly, that he saw the first plane fly into the WTC on TV while waiting to enter a classroom at Booker elementary school.
As I've noted, what President Bush is claiming is at odds with the facts.
Here's the truth about how President Bush first learned of the initial WTC attack:

Peter, as you know, the president's down in Florida talking about education. He got out of his hotel suite this morning, was about to leave, reporters saw the White House chief of staff, Andy Card, whisper into his ear. The reporter said to the president, 'Do you know what's going on in New York?' He said he did, and he said he will have something about it later. His first event is about half an hour at an elementary school in Sarasota, Florida.
You are obviously in no danger from any radiation, Tom, so let me spell it out for you. Not only was there no live video of the first WTC, as President Bush has claimed, but also, there is an account which proves that the President was not being honest because he had already been informed of the first WTC crash before leaving his hotel for the school.
Now, I suggest that you forget about strawman arguments, lizard people, hummingbirds flying through freeway tunnels, and your other flights of fancy, and instead, consider the implications of your president's deceitful words and actions, or lack of them, as in remaining in a classroom full of children after being informed that "America is under attack."
