You know Splinx, this thread got me thinking, what if Bush has Nixonian traits?
What if he KNEW about the attacks beforehand, yet did nothing?
What if he KNEW there were "terrorists" (perhaps even trained by the CIA), who were PLANNING some attacks, and yet did nothing?
Maybe he couldn't CONCEIVE of the damage at the time, but figured any act of terrorism could be used to trot out the Patriot act, call any resistors or objectors to his acts and his wars as "traitors", and proceed with his plans for the Middle East.
What IF, soon....very soon; someone comes out with the smoking gun and can prove that Bush and Cheny and Rice and Wofowitz KNEW beforehand.........
No amount of praying is going to fix that.
And maybe there's another scandal brewing.
Oh yes, just wait.......this Presidency just might go down in flames.......
