You're right I re-read that post and I seem to merge sentences and leave big omissions in my train of thought. Well... I was distracted...but that's neither here nor there.

The gist is that Bush as Nixon doesn't fly. If you want to paint a Nixon comparison - try Cheney as Nixon, that's got a better chance of sticking. But better yet...Hillary as Nixon. She has the matching persecution complex and enemies list.

As for me thinking my fellow Americans are dumb - that's a relative proposition and needs to be put in perspective or context. Compared to the most global levels of education and pockets of stagnated human development, even average Americans sparkle with insight and understanding, but when one measures the average American against their true potential - they generally only offer glimpses of this inner quality.

Also, the two compatible criminal elements were Saddam and the Nigerian uranium smugglers - not Bush and the CIA or Bush and the British ;-)

Life will go on and all this difficulty in the middle east will smooth out as western values seep in and more quality education starts to be favored by mothers and fathers for their children. The region will literally regenerate out the hate over several generations of people with increasing understanding and less narrow religious controls on their views. Less barbaric violence and doing things like pounding swords on their heads in perpetuated archaic ignorance.

If you are intending upon throwing your name into the ring with those who believe in vast conspiracies of the right wing to steal Iraq's oil or set up concentration camps in the US for dissidents of Bush's dictatorship, then you have lost that big picture perspective that is so necessary for seeing the truth.

Like I advised Lindy, perhaps you, too, need to use the mirror principle if you see grand conspirators and tyrants in the flower pots and Nixon out lurking by your mailbox. Perhaps G. Gordon Liddy is tapping your phone as we post?
