My perception is different.

SDAI didn't specify that his comment was only his opinion but that is implied in any post.

The sum of Don's posts are greater than the whole and they do invite an opinion on his views and how he presents them. It is all a matter of degree. As a group we have no problem commenting on Lee's opinions in a way that could possibly be seen as a personal attack. I am not trying to put Don's or anyone's comments on a scale of offensiveness but who are we to say what is offensive to another. Think of it as a letter to the editor.

As SDAI said, anyone can differ with his opinion of Don's views by rebutting them or ignoring them. Or, they can voice an opinion on his motives by opining that he is insensitive or he has a double standard.

I don't expect any agreement on my opinion on this any more than on anything else. After all, no analogy is perfect and the sky is not really always blue. I will continue to ignore Don's blogging but others may not.
