Wild Thing
This was a BAD movie. I guess it was the lead bad guy they called Trash. I had blocked out the rest, including the title, but sadly the review brought back visions I had hoped were discarded in the mental round file.
I guess when people say lines like "Listen, Trash..." or "Help yourself Yor..." I start shuddering and shaking my head in dismay trying not to imagine a bunch of drunk screenwriters laughing at 3am somewhere at their keen talent for dialogue.
I agree with you that sometimes the reincarnation of the old material is better than the original. It just seems there is less original content than before. As a society we revel more in the past than is perhaps healthy if one wants to continue to advance at a great pace. One of the attributes of the first part of the twentieth century in the US was that the citizenry looked ahead, not backwards.
