There's something about Mondays. I went out to my garage this morning to take out the trash and then go to work. My left rear tire was completely flat (I picked up a screw sometime Saturday morning). No problem, I have a spare! Only, when I bought the car a couple years ago, the dealer never gave me a jack. No problem, I have a compressor! I pumped up the tire and quickly drove to a tire dealer. $15 and 15 minutes later, I was on my way to work - ended up getting there 45 minutes late. I've got a call into the dealer's service department to see if they can get a jack for the car.
On a lighter note, Glo and I went to Estes Park on Saturday and spent a lot of time in Rocky Mountain National Park. Yesterday, I had her minivan over 12,500 feet above sea level at one point. That's higher than I've ever taken the Cessna! I've actually had her previous minivan over 14,000 feet above sea level. The performance sucked eggs and the engine wanted to overheat, but it was fun. Legally, I can't take the Cessna that high without supplemental oxygen.
Ah, Monday morning...
