Problem is, though

We already have MechRoboGeezer here, Tom- You!

Seriously though:
My Fiance developed rheumatoid a few years back (literally, she woke up one morning with the joints and mobility of a 80 year old after having gone to bed as a vivacious 23 year old woman), so a suit would just be a torture device...

Which makes me think, as advanced osteo-arthritis has many of the same characteristics (limited mobility, and pain through limited range of motion), though is less chronic than, rheumatoid. And Osteo-arthritis is the primary reason for loss of mobility in the elderly. So I'm not sure it would help to have a mechanical aparatus ramming your hips and knees through motions... You might be able to walk, but the shrieking wouldn't be from the machinery....

Given what my gal has suffered, and the effects it has had on our lives, and the 'looming possibility' of wheel-chair life... What I want is more stem-cell research that could restore jont tssues, even if the restoration is imperfect, its better than being in your 20's and needing help to get to the bathroom at night... Hell, thats not good living at any age.

But, Sigh, Your man thinks that cloning is an affront to gawd... (yes, Tom, I'm pickin' a fight with you- could I ever resist?)
