Yeah, we've already been through this at least once. As I seem to recall, your position boiled down to:
- Going into Iraq with the military was the absolute wrong thing to do
- Nothing other than going into Iraq with the military would fix the Saddam situation in the long term
- There had to be an alternative
- You had no idea what the alternative would be, but Bush should have come up with one.
Feel free to correct me at length. I can't locate the original posts. There is, of course, the other common liberal position that if we had left Saddam and Sons alone for the next decade or so, that he would have taken up knitting and never threatened anyone again, but I don't recall you buying that one any more than anyone else with a brain would.
