First of all, I don't like your assumptions. You're already declaring them smarter than us and feasrsome......cannabalistic, even.
So right there, you've lost me. If they were that aggressive and hungry, we'd be canned goods by now. As for what we should be doing:

If they've been watching us and they're on their way, there is NOTHING we can do to stop them.

Who says they have nuclear weapons? They may have weapons so far in advance of ours that ours are made totally useless.

So the answer is......if this were even remotely happening........
Find out what they want, see if they want to help us. Hey, they might want to liberate us from ourselves. Maybe they want our oil. Maybe they want to democratize us.
