Most conferences charge admission to all attendees, whether they speak or not. You're lucky to have got 45 minutes for your money. Most NASA conferences give you 20, if you're lucky enough to get a speaking slot at all.
Anyway, you should be able to make that money back in an hour or so by selling your body on the streets, the same way you are whoring your corrupt ideas around...
