One would think that a voucher program in one small area, supported by the local politicians, would be encouraged as an easy test case. But no. The Democrats are terrified of this, and will fight it to the last filibuster.
One would also think that the almost rabid opposition to vouchers would give reasonable people a clue as to the real motivations of the politicians and unions opposing them.
