re: Looks Like We've Found The Secret Of Chasing Off Mars Society Nuts

No Mark, you nor any other person has chased me off. I have been on vacation. I see you are still a back stabber.

I am waiting until December to make you choke on your words. I have saved all the Mars Nuts posts so that I can remind of what you said.

Until then I really don't want to waste my time answering the same questions I've answered over and over. Your fantasy of sending humans to Mars grows smaller each day. This is because your Mars Society group refuses to face reality --- you have a President sucking every conceivable dime for wars and the issue of life on Mars has to be settled first before humans can go. Here is a invited paper by one of your own Mars Society members (choke on it):

MARS - One Way To Stay"
Economics, Commercialization, Public Policy and Technology Needs Required For Mission Success

"In 1960 the Government of the United States agreed in writing with the Soviet Union to a 50 year moratorium on any return from Mars for the purpose of averting microbiological disaster upon return to Earth. So strong was the conviction that it became policy between the two super-powers that either would shoot down any returning spacecraft. This was the startling result of the 1960 International Conference on Mars, as I recall it was titled, and was held here in Denver, Colorado. I was invited but unable to attend and the date may be incorrect."
