re: Help or hinderance? CO2 and small bright sun

Since 95% of the C)2 in Earth's atmosphere today is a result of life (the carbon cycle) and active volcanism contributes only a small 3% or so, then how do you explain Mars today having 200 times more CO2 than Earth if Mars is not volcanically active? Also, where did the Martian residual ozone come from? Under what circumstances would you say CO2 is a biogenic gas?

Of course you and I have been through the faint young sun paradox before, but there is a thoery out there that says the sun was much brighter and intense in its early history.
