but it was not a widely distributed photo (other than the internet) and I doubt that a fascist impression was what the photographer was after. The close up in Justin's post is more benign.
Any formal picture of over a hundred troops from any country (maybe not Netherlands) will tend to look militaristic and by association fascist, if you want to be hyper-sensitive.
It hardly comes up to the magnitude of a May Day parade with close formation goose stepping.
