Mr. Powell was set up by the neocons in the Bush administration. A year ago, he argued vigorously against unilateral action and admonished his President not to act without bringing the U.N. along. So the neocons dished up a little WMD magic and manufactured a presentation for him. Nothing Mr. Powell claimed in his presentation turned out to be true. He was sold down the river.
