But I thought you were implying that the poverty/income story was not as worthy of coverage as the growth rate story. Indicators: you objected to their juxtaposition. Linked to one not the other.
That you additionally seem to think that publishing bad news on poverty/income is an affront to the wealthy is another indicator of what you feel is important.
Kind of like if the story was about a child hit by a car, and your comment was about how expensive crossing guards are (nobody but you having brought up the topic of crossing guards).
