Why were you assuming that my mentioning the press tacking the poverty number onto the good economic news indicated I was heartless? Or did not indicate a deliberate attempt to deflate the impact of the good news?

Isn't the entire accusation of heartlessness thrown at conservatives because they don't support massive government distribution of cash to the poor funded by ruinous taxes on the rich and middle classes? Don't see a lot of sympathy for the victims there. Did I miss your point entirely?
