I do not see any "pattern of the Left accepting as absolute proof..."
During the Great Sixteen Words Flap, try and find a single source attacking Bush and debunking the uranium-Africa connection that did NOT rely on Wilson as its primary, if not sole, source for its skepticism.
British intelligence was totally ignored, as was Iraq's past connection with African uranium.
Never trust my judgment (judgement?) on spelling.
