There are those on the left and right that appear to be idiots by relying on certain assertions to make political points.

There are those on the left and right that stand and watch.

There are those on the left and right that attempt to comment on current events without deliberately including those that don't wish to be included.

Both sides do it. Sometime blatently and sometimes innocently to make a point. Tom's comment does not rise to the level of saying that anyone that believes GWII was justified is equal to a believer in Yeti and Nessie but it is just as harmless.

You have said nothing to give anyone the impression that you believe Wilson is infallible so why take offense just because you feel that you are "left"? He obviously wasn't talking about you.
