I agree with this statement 100% but as a certified fb coach and bigtime football fan, I can assure you that the flap about black QB's is history. About the only thing that white folks can say about this is they may still have a slim majority. It was a dumb sports remark by Rush under any circumstance
In college ball, the number of starting black quarterbacks far exceeds the ratio of blacks in the general population and black qbs have been common in the NFL for years. The fact that none of them have made us forget the white legends does not change that fact that they are playing on par with any of the current white guys. Salary caps and parity has a lot to to with the lack of modern heros.
